relationship - a connection between organisms
producer - an organism that can make its own food using photosynthesis
consumer - an organism that eats other organisms
primary consumer - eats only producers; herbivores
secondary consumer - eat primary consumers and can eat plants too; omnivores and some carnivores
tertiary consumer - eats secondary consumers; carnivores
predator - an animal that HUNTS other animals as a source of food
prey - an animal that IS HUNTED by other animals
decomposer - an organism (such as fungus) that breaks down dead organisms
symbiosis - two organisms living in physical association to one another, to the benefit of both
mutualism - a symbiotic relationship relationship where both organisms benefit (WIN, WIN)
